As an administrative apprentice you provide clerical support to team leaders and managers.

If you are an organised person and you like the idea of working in an office environment then an administration apprenticeship could be perfect for you.

You will need to have good communication skills and also be friendly and polite when dealing with the public or customers.

Potential duties

  • Filing and photocopying
  • Producing and sending letters
  • Sorting, recording and distributing mail
  • Dealing with cash payments
  • Updating computerised and clerical records
  • Acting as a PA or secretary to a manager or director

Qualification Gained

  • Level 2 BTEC Diploma in Business Administration
  • Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Business Administration
