What will candidates learn?

Learners will understand the hazards associated with operating dangerous equipment, handling hazardous goods and moving and handling products. The importance of machinery guards, cut-out switches and other safety devices will be understood.


What will candidates be able to provide, in terms of on the ground knowledge and helpfulness in case of an incident relevant to their training?

This qualification focuses on the importance of maintaining health and safety in a manufacturing environment


How will their knowledge be tested at the end of the course?

Through a 30 minute, 15-question multiple-choice examination. Learners must achieve a score of at least 10 out of 15 in order to pass

This qualification is usually achieved by taking a half-day course
