Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship

Aspire have a team of qualified Teachers that deliver high quality Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship training. Having appropriately trained support staff is a massive component of any successful school. As well as Teachers, support staff play a pivotal role in supporting pupil progress in delivering high quality education. Recent studies have suggest a positive correlation between the number of support staff in school and levels of attainment. In essence the more support staff in school, the more likely pupils are to achieve their potential. 

Potential Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant Apprentice:

Teaching Assistant Apprentices study towards the Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (dependant on previous qualification) that will enable them to seek employment as a Teaching Assistant upon completion of their Apprenticeship.

Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Qualifications

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification (12 months) – Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (18 months) – Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools
