Potential Duties
- Plan fun, engaging coaching activities, sessions and programmes in a safe environment
- Give feedback on performance and help to improve technique
- Work with young people, schools, and community groups and sports organisations to promote the sport.
- Design basic training programmes
- Work on developing more advanced techniques and tactics
- Develop players into effective teams
- Support performers at events and competitions
- Maintain records of performance
- Give advice on how lifestyle choices can affect performance.
- Design training programmes
- Monitor the physical condition and mental attitude of the people you coach
- Help your performers do their very best in competitions
Qualification Gained
- Level 2 NVQ in Activity Leadership
- Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools (If primarily school based)
