As a coach or activity leader you will be learn how to plan and deliver sessions that will be fun and inspiring to participants.

Potential Duties

• Plan fun, engaging coaching activities, sessions and programmes in a safe environment
• Give feedback on performance and help to improve technique
• Work with young people, schools, and community groups and sports organisations to promote the sport.
• Design basic training programmes
• Work on developing more advanced techniques and tactics
• Develop players into effective teams
• Support performers at events and competitions
• Maintain records of performance
• Give advice on how lifestyle choices can affect performance.
• Design training programmes
• Monitor the physical condition and mental attitude of the people you coach
• Help your performers do their very best in competitions

Qualification Gained

• Level 2 NVQ in Activity Leadership
• Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools (If primarily school based)
