Get the keys to jobs in Lancashire – it’s all about National Apprentice Week!

Next week’s theme as part of National Apprenticeship Week is rise to the top! We can’t wait to get involved with the campaign and shout about how the right apprenticeship is the door through which you can get the best jobs in Lancashire!

So let’s break it down – why are Lancashire job prospects improved by completing an apprenticeship? Check out some of the apprenticeship facts!

  • Apprenticeships are not only available in the industries you might think!  From advertising and social media apprenticeships, to youth work and positions in law, there are over 170 industries that are accessible through Liverpool apprenticeships and opportunities across the country.
  • Within these industries, apprenticeships give you access to train in over 1500 job roles!
  • Last year, apprentices participated in 871 800 apprenticeships in the last year.
  • 90% of apprentices remain employed after their course ends, with a further 2% going on to become self-employed!
  • 7 in 10 apprentices are so happy with their placement that they remain with the same employer after their training has ended.

From Apprenticeships in Liverpool to Traineeships in London - #NAW2016 is all about how high you can soar!

National Apprenticeship Week is an annual event which takes place from 14-18 March 2016, with hundreds of events expected to take place across England.

The week, which is co-ordinated by the National Apprenticeship Service, is designed to celebrate apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses and the economy.

Every year the Week increases in popularity and National Apprenticeship Week 2015 was a huge success. For 2016, supporters are being encouraged to organise events and activity around that will help us to realise our overarching theme for the Week, which is ‘Rise to the top’.
